Advice provided to the ZPC Milanówek in the ERP system implementation project

Advice provided to ZPC Milanówek in the process of implementing an ERP system by a leading Polish software supplier. The services included the verification of documentation and support in the negotiation process.

The victory in a dispute over the protection of personal rights with the publisher of Newsweek

The victory of the Law Firm in a dispute between ATF sp.z o.o. sp.k. and Ringier Axel Springer Polska sp.z o.o. – publisher and journalists of Newsweek, regarding the protection of personal rights. The District Court in Warsaw, as a result of the lawsuit by the Law Firm, ordered the publisher of Newsweek and the authors of the article to include statements with apologies for posting partially untrue information violating the company's good name.

The victory of the Law Firm before the Supreme Court

The victory of the Law Firm before the Supreme Court in the case regarding the employees’ obligations of submitting to a preventive breath test (II PK 199/17). The ruling of the Supreme Court has an important practical significance. So far, the position that an employee cannot be punished by the employer for the refusal to be submitted to a breath test itself, unless there has been a justified suspicion regarding his/her sobriety has prevailed in jurisprudence.

Counselling for a municipal company from the public transport sector

A complex representation of a municipal company (public transport) in disputes regarding commercial law and agreements.

Advice provided to the foundation

Representing foundation in a dispute with a bank financing foundation investment project. Actions of our Law Firm succeeded in repeal of an attachment of the foundation bank account in which were gathered aid measures from European Union. In that case the legal issue were addressed to the Supreme Court which shared the view of our Law Firm about inadmissibility of an attachment questioning by our Law Firm (The Supreme Court resolution from 26.02.2015, III CZP 104/14)

Counselling for an investor in a dispute with a general contractor

Representing an investor in anti-enforcement proceedings. The law firm has obtained  a security for a claim in the form of suspending enforcement proceedings. The value of the dispute subject: ca. PLN 4 mln.

Advisory in the dispute for rectification of the press publication

Representing an entrepreneur in proceedings against a nationwide weekly. GKW acquired ruling against the editor-in-chief to correct the false information contained in the press publication.

Counselling for an investor in a dispute with a building contractor

Representing an investor in court proceedings brought by a general contractor. The Law Firm has obtained a ruling that was beneficial for the Client withholding the enforceability of payments orders from bills-of-exchange. The value of the dispute subject ca. PLN 6 mln.
